Personalized tutoring, cognitive coaching, and behavior growth-inspired learning for all ages.

ON-TREND ACTIVE LEARNING FOR THE FUTURE

I know we just met, But Can we chat for a bit?

As a lifelong educator and dedicated parent, I understand that learning today looks very different from when many of us were in school. The way students think, process, and engage with information has evolved — and education must evolve with them.

At Think-Forward Academy, we combine time-tested teaching strategies with innovative, research-based methods that support the needs of all learners — from young children to adults. Our approach blends academic tutoring, executive functioning skills, and cognitive development to help each learner progress confidently and independently.

I bring the heart of an “old-school” teacher and the mindset of “new-school” innovation, bridging the gap between traditional learning and modern educational expectations. Whether it’s mastering Common Core concepts, improving focus and memory, or building social-emotional and behavioral skills, every student is met exactly where they are — and guided forward with care and expertise.

At Think-Forward Academy, our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower every mind to move forward — one step, one strategy, and one success at a time.

🌿 ThinkForward Academy Educational Philosophy 🌿

At ThinkForward Academy, we believe learning is not a one-size-fits-all journey — it’s a personal path shaped by each individual’s strengths, experiences, and goals. Our philosophy centers on the idea that every learner, regardless of age or ability, can thrive when given the right tools, guidance, and encouragement to move forward with purpose.

We cultivate growth by blending evidence-based teaching, cognitive development, and social-emotional learning to build confident, independent thinkers. Our approach integrates traditional academic foundations with innovative, brain-based strategies that strengthen focus, memory, executive functioning, and emotional regulation.

We are guided by three core principles:

  1. Empowerment through Understanding – Meeting every learner where they are and valuing their unique ways of thinking and learning.

  2. Progress through Connection – Building trust, collaboration, and motivation through meaningful relationships between students, families, and educators.

  3. Success through Growth – Celebrating small wins, fostering resilience, and helping every learner see progress as a continuous journey, not a fixed destination.

At ThinkForward Academy, we don’t just teach for the present — we nurture minds to think forward, preparing every learner to navigate life with confidence, curiosity, and clarity.

🧠 Our Program 🧠

At ThinkForward Academy, we are a private educational and therapeutic learning center serving children from Pre-K through adulthood with autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and executive functioning challenges. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, behaviorally based instruction and intervention that supports each learner’s academic, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Guided by our educational philosophy, we believe learning should be personalized, purposeful, and empowering. Every student’s program is designed around their unique strengths, challenges, and learning style — ensuring meaningful progress at a pace that reflects their individual abilities. Our instruction is grounded in research-based practices, including ABA principles, executive functioning strategies, and social-emotional learning frameworks that encourage independence, confidence, and lifelong learning.

We offer both small group classes and one-on-one sessions, allowing us to provide flexible, customized instruction. Class sizes are intentionally small, with enrollment based on the functional levels and abilities of each student to ensure personalized attention and optimal learning outcomes. Throughout the day, learners receive individualized and small group instruction based on their academic and behavioral goals.

Parent and caregiver involvement is an essential part of our approach. Families are active partners in the learning process and are encouraged to attend quarterly meetings to review their child’s individualized education plan (IEP) and discuss progress. For adult learners, we emphasize collaborative goal-setting and skill-building to support success in daily life, work, and personal development.

At ThinkForward Academy, acceptance is open to both verbal and non-verbal learners, with placement determined by an initial evaluation prior to enrollment. Our curriculum is not grade-based but ability-based, allowing each student to advance at a level that truly reflects their potential.

Through a blend of personalized education, parent partnership, and evidence-based practice, we cultivate a supportive environment where every learner — child or adult — can think forward, grow forward, and move forward.
